COMPETITION REGISTRATION AND FEES

In order to register for competitions, you will need to make an uplifter account with Skate Nova Scotia:

An email will be sent out when registration goes live for these events. Talk to your coaches if your skater is interested. There may be limited space and registration can fill quickly, so register early.

Each competition has a registration fee that will be paid at the time of registration and a coaching fee that you will be invoiced for after the event. The coaching fee is paid to the coaches for accompanying the skaters at the competition. The coaching fee covers the pre-event warmup, accompanying the skater throughout the event, and the post event debrief. Expenses incurred for the day, such as travel and accommodation, are split between all attending skaters. Once the schedule for the event has been confirmed, you may request an estimate of the cost prior to the event. It is best to discuss your budget with the head coach at the start of the season to ensure you are on the same page.
